Junior Brush Beats is an Art Competition for kids 16 years old and under as part of Jamba 2026. The exhibition will be held in the Laneway at 18 Coldstream St, Yamba on the 28th and 30th August.

The theme of the exhibition is "Art and Music". Groms can use their imagination to paint/draw/collage/decorate their provided canvas reflecting this theme. Prizes will be given for the two categories: Under 16 and Under 10. There will also be a People's Choice Award.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Purchase a $5 Brush Beast Art Kid & Competition Entry

2. Pick up your kit from our designated sites and get painting! You can use what's in the pack or add to it with your own supplies.

3. Grab a friend and drop into Average Gallery to join a free flowing workshop on Sunday 16th August (optional).

4. Return your finished art work to one of the designated locations by 21st August.

PICK UP / DROP OFF LOCATIONS

Art Packs will need to be collected from the 5th August 2026 following locations:

• Yamba Wholefoods - Shop 3/5 Yamba Street, Yamba

• Flots & Jets - 13 Yamba St, Yamba

• Average Gallery - 30 Yamba Street, Yamba

• Yamba Public School - Angourie Rd, Yamba

Finished art pieces will need to be delivered to one of the above locations by 21st August 2026.
